Ah I see it, thank you.

I guess the colour changes depending on skin. Was looking for a green arrow, where mine is red.

First, I didn't read any of the above comments.
Second, I love how things are tracked differently (by account). I also love how you no longer have to click the text on the thread to mark it as 'read'.

But, is there any way to keep that arrow to bring us to the last post in the thread? It's very useful if you cant to go to the end of a long thread without having to scroll.

Another thing.

Is there a way to mark the posts you've seen in the live feed as read? It's weird to read a post in the live feed then go to the forum only to have it marked as unread.

Full post view or summary view?

Full post view.

Eh, i don't know. It would be nice, but how would it know if you actually read a post, or if it just scrolled by while you're afk?

Yeah, I don't see a way of doing that for the specific reason ThePsychoticOne mentioned. One of the devs who implemented it might be able to better say whether a 'mark as read' button being added to liveview is doable.

That would work.

That seems like too much work to really be useful, but eh.. I don't know. I'd probably use it occasionally, and obviously wouldn't object to having it. Just not sure how much i'd really use it.

Don't know if I should make a separate thread for this since I honestly don't know if it's due to these changes, but I'm noticing several threads that appear as "read" to me despite never having clicked them. They also show that there are no new replies since I last checked.

Could this be in some way related to the mouseover feature registering the threads as read? I'm fairly certain I hovered my mouse over some of those threads to see the preview, but then again, I just tried replicating this by hovering my mouse over a thread I've never read and using F5 to refresh the site. Nothing changed there.

Am I just being tinfoil hat crazy or is something up?

Edit: Small edit. The threads I mentioned don't actually show as read. They show in bold, which I assume is unread, or at least "new posts since last time", but the "unread posts" tracker shows nothing.

Can you clarify what you mean? Bold/normal is what shows if a thread is read or not, so I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Oh, yeah, I think it's my bad.

I thought the unread tracker thing would show unread replies if I hadn't clicked the thread at all. It only shows number of unread posts if I've previously clicked the thread, right? So if a thread shows in bold, I've either not read it or there's been new posts since I last read it. Right? It will also only show the arrow if I have read the thread and new posts have been made since then.

Basically I'm just having trouble adapting to the new functions. I'm used to bold threads being new and arrows taking me to the last post. Now I have to watch for arrows, bold text and numbers.

Bold w/ number/arrow = read thread, but new posts since then.
Bold w/o number/arrow = unread thread.
Non-bold = read and nothing new.

Right?

All correct.
