I am sick of BT and his sh*t. He is a jackass of the highest order to everyone who isn't his special little friend and I am sick of it. Every god damn post I ever make is followed by a snide remark and I am done. If he wants to be an @#%^ do it in =4 where it is accepted. Mindel is just as bad but at least she posts something relevant before being a douche. I don't post here as often anymore because it is a safe bet that that @#%^head will be right behind with some smartass comment about me. I have already PM'd 2 admin and am PMing Allakhazam after I hit post.
Something needs to be done to nip this sh*t right now. IF this site expects people to post anywhere but the forum they came here to read then @#%^s like BT need to move his sh*t to the big kid's room and let the little kids actually enjoy coming here.

I'm just speaking from experience but generally admins don't intervene when there are conflicts of personality.
Things do tend to die down after a few years and you realize that some people that you were once at odds with are actually pretty cool.
I know it sucks. A big reason why the original journal was created was for us to be able to post without dealing with karma or harassment. (ratings don't count in a journal.)
I know how much it sucks to have to hear people make up lies and then some new schmuck actually believing it. The thing that works the best is just let it roll off your back. People who behave like sheep always (ALWAYS) end up getting it far worse then they dished out.

There are a few posters all forums could do without. Sadly all I ever see from the admins is a slap in the wrist. While I do understand that you can't go around banning everyone because then the site will be lifeless and dead, but sometimes a little more than a slap on the wrist should be in order.

I concur. Calling people out publicly in front of their peers or even anyone in general is bad juju. It doesn't help anyone and usually makes you look like a jerk. However, there are some times we actually need to because there are several abusers, but we rarely ever call them out by name, just refer to them as you guys or something. If I mention someone by name, it's because they were being a total jerk and probably deserved it. My CM's do try to handle problems via private chat, IM, email, or PM's and that is best for all parties involved IMO.

Honestly, the only time I can recall in the past few months when I responded to something you posted was a thread recently where you prefaced your post with something along the lines of "F*ck you BT, I'm posting anyway".
If I'm bothering you that much, though, I can promise to keep your name out of my posts if you do likewise. No one from the site has contacted me about this, though, so I'd just assume they like me more than they like you and would rather see you leave.

If BT wasn't an *** and actually was nice, I think the world would explode. Granted, his rough attitude probably scares off new posters, but other than being a lolebully, he's harmless. BT actually had a nice stage, was really odd. We just need to sand down his edges so he's not so sharp and abrasive. ROFL

I remember kind BT, that was...strange. It was so weird seeing BT post and not be harsh or rude or anything in his posts. It was just plain creepy, and not Nixnot creepy.

Barkingturtle, you don't tell anyone on my forum that you wish death upon them when they are on the operating table, especially for a surgery like that. That is an implied death threat, and if perchance he did die on that table, his heirs could make a somewhat compelling case against you for that.

This also, by a happy coincidence, increases the likelyhood that I will get Guru from zero to highly unlikely. Wouldn't that achieve the system's aim more elegantly and produce a happier family environment for all? I contend that it will.
