This thread has turned into a flame war. The OP is so blinded by their own biased viewpoint, it's took a turn for the worst. I ask that the thread be locked to prevent further flaming. The RDM update was such a flop, we might need more admins in the forum too.

Here is a minor example.

I just finished reading all 6 pages. Near as I can tell, ShadowedgeFFXI started the whole flame war with this particular post:

The others in the thread are certanly not helping the situation, but posts such as: "You're biggest dumb son of a ***** I ever met in all the internets." are not helping the situation. Near as I can tell, ShadowedgeFFXI wants the thread locked solely because he is losing the argument.

It really, really pisses me off when people try to play that game.

It was done in such a way to legitimize the bad info. This has nothing to do about losing an argument. I'm not that petty and I resent the implication. If something is being presented as fact, you need the full list of details, not partial findings and the rest must be fabricated to fill in the missing holes.

I don't appreciate the implication that I was losing an argument and was a sore loser. The real story is the firestorm took a turn for the worse after the RDM update was announced and wasn't very favorable to us. Pikko locked 2 of the threads already. You can't just read one thread and expect to know the whole story. I wasn't the one to start the flame war, it was Starfox. It just so happens this thread was turning ugly when I asked for it to be locked. End of story.

lol at this thread. shadow asks to lock a thread that he unwittingly trolled, gets rated down for stupidity, then kao appropriately locks tanth's dumbass thread. on this one day, i express full endorsement of the moderating staff.
