My Rate Button Doesn't Work (was forum=25)Follow
I'm doing it right but its not working.
If you hit the drop down to the rating you want then hit rate it will go however the website lags a little when doing so. Good example of this is when you update or change your siggy, it doesn't update right away.
Rated your post excellent wich should have changed what it showed to good, I've now waited 5 minutes and it hasn't changed yet.
Well, you're not set to NORATE, so it's either the site or Niz or Dana will need to take a look.
It's probably the rounding error. Try it now.

Can you check my account as well? I try to rate people up and I just don't see that it's working. Or it could be that I don't understand how the rating works. It'd be nice if there was a confirmation message as simple as "Posts rated." in a location similar to the "Welcome thermalnoise" box up top.

thermalnoise, I see quite a few ratings from you in the last 7 days.
OK, thank you for checking. At least I know it's working!
Don't forget that it might not show a change easily or often if the posts you are rating have a lot of ratings on them already. Same goes for a persons total ratings on them.
My rate button didn't work this morning either, so nya nya.

Yeah, Ratebots get you norated. Probably don't want to make them.

If you're at 3.01ish, the display rounds up but the karma checker doesn't, which causes confusion. One of those should probably be changed, I'll have to think about it.

I am not exactly sure what happened, but it's my account and I take full responsibility for it. I would also point out, I have not been able to rate for a long time. Seems like nearly two years.

100k plus active users on the site, sometimes they slip through. Or sometimes they get caught sooner and someone else slaps them before I get them.
