Thread SpammerFollow

Decides his Phoenix server problems were everybody's and spammed each server with the same thread, just copied and pasted. So far, on Shiva's forums, not well excepted either.

If I had Premier, it'd be alot easier to track them down, but I think you'll get the idea, please nuke 'em down, ban, whatever floats you're boat.

This is exactly why nice guys finish last. Maybe cut him a little slack and nuke the anti-American, pro-terrorist into oblivion? Of the two of them, he certainly deserves to be here less.

I guess 50 spammage threads about Blue Mage and POL errors are fine and dandy but when one person tries to get some sympathy for their cause they are castigated.

See, he's not a nice guy. He's on a personal crusade. Did we see screen shots, do I know this guy, do I care? I agreed that if it were true that it was an awful thing, but didn't agree with the method. See, by spamming, he made it all about HIM and not the idiot in question - all I know is that's a guy with a little too much hatred focused in one area right now.

We have our share of racist idiots, scammers and distasteful folk on Fenrir. We do NOT bring this to all of your server forums, do we? Trust me, some of the stuff has been equally bad. But we don't take it to every forum possible, create socks & continue to post.

Now, if one person spammed 50 threads about Blue Mage, it would be JUST AS BAD. But if 50 different people post 1 thread each about Blue Mage, they'll find themselves fast ignored - we can't ask that 50 different people be treated as one person. Trust me, I'd LOVE a way for those threads to go away, but these are individuals.

Just trust that your "nice guy" buddy actually annoyed more people than he warned. I'm on Fenrir - we have our own group of jerks to deal with - sorry to say, but the Phoenix guy wasn't anymore special than the select few that enjoy being offensive because they think it makes them big e-thugs. If anything, your "good guy" made this Phoenix jerk feel great about his ability to make people mad - look at the attention your friend gave him. This won't teach the meanie anything other than "ooh, I have a lackie that will advertise my name whenever I say anything!" Do you not know that a guy like that desires attention over anything else?

Perspective, it's a good thing.
