Goddamnit, I am sick and tired of people rating down without saying a word. I have just gotten nuked for posting a mild topic on the FFXI main board, yet no one has responded. What I think would be a good addition to these forums is something SHOWING who is rating down.
So you got a ratedown. Shrug it off. Complaining here is the BEST way of getting further ratedowns. People don't like it when others complain about the karma system. The system works really well as it is, and unless someone comes up with an absolutely brilliant way to improve the system, Illia isn't going to adjust it.
why should we be forced to feed and bump the trolls. Not replying lets the thread disapear faster.
As far as caring who rated down, it isnt worth the effort. All that leads to is the karma obsessed camping each other.

Not counting this gem, five of your 122 posts are currently below your default rating. And one of those was made after this thread. I would say the rating system is working to your benefit.
