Item Collector & DoN Barter SearchingFollow

I was searching for some items using the search feature of the Dragons of Norath barter buyer window. I noticed that a few of the items I found were not in the Lucy database so I clicked on them to bring up the item descriptions. When I checked the Item Collector log, I did not see the items being processed and they did not go into the database. Could the Item Collector be modified to capture the information from the DoN? I think this would be usefull to help fill the database.
