I know it might seem a bit more opiniony than most, but it's really become nothing more than a floating flame war. It was allowed to die off once, but somone just brought it back. It looks, to me at least, like its just trying to troll the thread again.

I took a look at that thread, and surprisingly it's name as flamed as I am used to seeing. We are a mild moderation site and I will keep an eye on that thread, but at this time I do not see a reason to lock it.
Yea, self moderation and the karma system.
I was hesitant to ask, as I've seen similar responses to similar threads here.
But I figured it was worth a shot, as someone just bumped it again for (imo of course) solely to restart a flame war that should have faded.
