a 22 year old recent college grad if you were 30?

...if it helps, everyone I've met is shocked when I tell them I'm 30 and I feel younger too. So, there's that.

Dude. I think a 30 year old woman dating a 22 year guy would very odd...but of course that may or may not be a double standard

That was sort of my oldest sister and her ex husband.

I knew it wasn't going to last when I found out he was into Warhammer 4000.... and as part of their marriage she made him sell the table. Smiley: disappointed

As long as state law allows it, age doesn't make a difference. I dated a 19 year old...when I was 33.... Well actually he dated me, I didn't want to go out with him in the first place but I was kind of horny.

Also, when I was 19... I dated a 46 year old, where is your god now?

If you were just horny you probably could have found a dozen people or so to take care of that problem Smiley: nod

Does and doesn't to me. Without knowing where they are in their lives, it's hard to say. A lot of 30 year olds aren't that different from 22 year olds. Some of them are a lot more established and "mature" for lack of a more elegant word. When I hear of a 25 year old dating an 18 year old there's enough of a maturation gulf that my thought is always "What social deficiencies does he/she have that he/she can't find other 25 year olds to date?" Whether that gulf exists between these two I have no idea.

Well she just graduated and is job hunting. I already have a job but am still in college (which is where we met). I am trying to buy a house and she is apartment hunting in Austin here. So.. I guess we're similarly different lol.

That's not even close to what he was referring to.

Joph, you have your answer.

My wife just throws things out, slowly, when I'm not looking so I don't notice for a year or two. It's awesome, house gets cleared of crap I don't use and I don't have to do it :). Added bonus, I no longer have to make the french fries since she threw out my french fry cutter-upper.

Potato wedges with lemon, oregano, and garlic are better anyway.

I don't know, I'd guess women would taste okay fried with lemon oregano and garlic as well.

I think that's been mostly phased out in favor of "If you have to ask, the answer is yes, it's creepy."

Honestly though, 22/30 isn't that big a split. Especially if they're an older acting 22 / younger acting 30.
