Every episode of Buffy, and pretty much every episode of Angel has had a line that I liked. For the sake of posting something tangible though, I will use Amy Acker's character "Fred", on the final episode of Angel, she was turned into Illyria and learned some human emotions, and watched Wesley die.

"I wish to do more violence".

I remember when I was younger, I always used to say 'Nice to see you, to see you nice ' impersonating Bruce Forsythe - it used to drive my dad mad .

My husband and I like to mimic the caterpillar. "Don't go that way! Never go that way."

And also, "Bum bum buuuuum, CERTAIN DEATH!!"

"You fargin sneaky bastage. I'm gonna take your dwork. I'm gonna nail it to the wall. I'm gonna crush your boils in a meat grinder. I'm gonna cut off your arms. I'm gonna shove 'em up your icehole. Dirty son-a-ma-batches. My own club!"

edit: not from a Fish called Wanda, but the Russian curse reminded me of this

Lol... "Don't hang me on a hook Johnny! My father hung me on a hook once. Once!"

And:

"It's an 88 magnum. It shoots through schools..."

As to influences from Spinal Tap. I still always get a kick out of this one.

Tail end of the NetApp "na_options" manual page:

BUGS
A perfect appliance would need no options (other than,
perhaps, a darkness adjustment knob). However, user Nigel
Tuffnell reports he likes the raid.reconstruct_speed knob
that goes from 1 to 10, but he requests a future enhancement
to "go to 11 because it's one better, isn't it?"

Not movie reference you or your zany, whacky friends use for lulz. I'm looking for those that have been taken on by the corporate, mainstream world.

YOU got it, sweet-cheeks, and the library photo was full of win, but Anna started the slippery slopeTM

You don't think "round up the usual number of suspects" applies?

The first few answers were pretty well on topic, I think. Then... OMG you won't believe this, but... it got off topic.

Out of Topic isn't just a name, it's a prediction. I think it's unfair to assume someone didn't understand merely because they posted something loosely related. I mean, Araxius being a moron wasn't the intended focus of his recent thread, but just because people followed on to the related topic of him being a troglodyte it doesn't mean they didn't understand what he wanted the discussion to be about.

As Miranda says: "This is unwonted".
