so if we could all just go back to before i made this thread, ya know, that'd be uber.

You're lucky it wasn't Exo doing the moving. You'd have (was forum=??) x9 in your topic by now. It would've been a hundred pages long due to people from all kinds of forums making their mandatory "WTF is this ****?" post.

There'd be people from FFXI, SWG, EQ2, perhaps even LOTRO and most likely also WoW. Chinese posters, French posters, Canadian posters, American posters, British posters, Scandinavian posters (ya, I know it's not a country), and so on.

We could sign it up for Guiness' Book of World Records for the longest and most useless thread EVER! It would go into the history of the internet as a thread of legends. A thread where heroes were created and villains were defeated. A thread where life came to be and miracles took place.

And forever the myth of The Quiet Game thread would send ripples of awesomeness out through the cybernet fibers in the form of small bleeps and single digits, because by then binary would no longer just be binary. And forever would the thread give inspiration to movies, sit-coms and Oprah Winfrey episodes, until someone cheats his way to the main prize in the betting show on Fox called "The Quiet Game" and the name is forever banned from the media.

Thus are the bells twelve times struck and on the thirteenth does the world end.

Amen.

Where is Exo... I feel this thread deserves to be trotted out in every forum, then returned here, for proper funeral rights.

Hi, I'm Mr. Block=Black. I'm here to hide potential spoilers, badwords and even R-Rated ASCII art. I do not like when people abuse my function.

Edit: Removed one word due to formatting. Lolz.
Edit: And it did f*ck all.

What I should do is an alternating block color of a few different really annoying colors.

Go here to damage your eyes.

What is the point of moving threads here if the only thing that happens to them is they get torn apart via Derailâ„¢ and Karma Bombed? Why is it better to move it vice just nuking it?

I'm not trying to be an ***, just honestly curious.

I have a sadistic streak? That and these types of threads tend to be more in line with what this forums demographic has indicated they prefer.

No, they tend to get moved off whatever their original topic was so that they are then in line with what we prefer.

If people are going to get "Set All to Awful"-happy on threads that get moved here and are then used for the purpose we see them to be fit for (namely, postcount++)... what's the point of moving them here in the first place?

So, are we witnessing a power struggle within the ranks of the admins?

Nah, I'm just too lazy to un-mark his posts when I rate-all. I have a button that resets admin karma anyway, not that kaolian's is going to move much with his number of posts.

Besides, if it bothers me I can go do that anyways. So its no big deal. If danalog really wanted to ***** with my karma he'd do something to the display code.

Besides, even if two admins got in a karma camp war and I got rated sub scholar i'd just have my army of ratebots put it back.

Yea, Rime's right. Especially in this case, since this forum doesn't fit the "all of us spam" theory anymore. Atlest, no more or any different than the Asylum. There's only a few that spam nothing but crap unless one of these threads shows up.

I'm just curious why one admin sends the thread here while another hits the 'set all to awful' button every few moments.

Was under the impression that blanket bombing without reasonable cause was frowned upon.

Agreed, but as admins, they can do whatever they want until all of the posters decide to leave and since that's not happening anytime soon...

Thanks.

Technically the admins are all employed by Allakhazam (and Illia?) so they can do whatever they want until Allakhazam says "WHA' DA FAWK IS GOIN' ON 'ERE!?" and fires them.

I don't believe they have the authority to ban everyone. It would ruin the site and whoever posted a sh*tcrapload of money into it might get a wee bit pissed.
