It's just bad...
My partner has Windows 8 and she has a little bit of a light malware problem. It's one that would be incredibly easy for me to fix on XP or 7(a couple toolbars, some redirects, nothing difficult), but I can't get the damn thing to boot into safe mode(why the hell would they change it from F8??). I've tried following some instructions I found with Google, but they don't seem to work(or I'm following them wrong). Is anyone who visits this section of the forum able to give me a quick, simplified guide to booting into safe mode or even just working with Windows 8 to get rid of viruses/malware/other similar stuff?

This is the current windows 8 safemode process. You may also be able to get to it from msconfig still

I came here this morning to create a post about just how bad 8 is, and found this. I want to get a tee shirt made that says "I hate 8." Maybe a bumper sticker. Maybe even some sky writing.

As I said recently in another thread, Windows 8 is a virus.
