Hello all, I have an HP F4100 Deskjet and I can not get the thing to print borderless on a 8.5in x 11in Legal/letter paper.... I am trying to print off some Nintendo DS covers for some games I bought used recently.
Which amounts to the right side of the DS covers I am printing are getting cut-off by about 1/4in or so.
The dimensions of the art is 10.867in by 4.567in with 300 resolution.
The printer properties will not let me force 0in borders or even 0.1in borders... it resets them to the left side being really small .016in or so, but I can't get the right side to go below 0.5in.
The Borderless box is greyed out and I can not figure out how to "ungrey" it.
I don't even see an option for 8.5in x 14in paper or I would try that, since I know the DS cover will print all right on the 8.5x11in paper if I didn't have the border problem...
I have tried using Photoshop and Paint... and I am guessing since the borders are based on what my printer defaults to.. it doesn't matter what program I am using it will still put borders.
Anyone know a program that will force a printer to abide by what the program says and not what they printer wants?
Or even some sort of text ediiting I can do to the printer's files in order to have it not default to a certain size of border?
Help?
Thanks.
