FF14 randomly crashingFollow

Hi,

Specs:
=======
- Latest D11
- AMD Phenom II Quad 3.4 / MSI 790FX
- 4 gigs of GSKILL 1333 7-7-7-21
- ATI 5850 video card
- Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
- I run the game as Administrator

I tried ATI drivers 10.7 to 10.9 and I uninstalled each driver before trying another.
I tried full screen and windowed

Game crashes when:

1. The character selection is about to appear. The image will remain completely black
2. Once I login, the game will run for 2 minutes and then I'll get a Lobby server error
3. Sometimes it crashes after the opening Square Enix opening logo and remains on a black screen

I tried rebooting and re-opening the application countless times. It was working awesome all morning and it's been giving me nothing but problems after 6pm this evening.

Troubleshooting is easy however the game is crashing at random times and my friend's are not having any issues, especially in Windowed mode. All signs point towards ATI drivers.

WTF is up? I've never had any problems with my PC until now.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

So it's crashing on initilizing the 3D engine. You've tried drivers already, maybe go grab the latest directX update from microsoft.com? What kind of power supply are you running in your machine, specifically the wattage?

Are you having trouble in any other games? Does it only crash if the computer has been on for several hours?

What type of computer case do you have, and how many fans of what type does it have in it?
