It's been a long time since I've built my own machine. I've been real lazy and stuck with Dell prebuilt systems for a long time, mostly because I get a nice discount for them from work. But now that I have Starcraft II, and I may consider getting FFXIV, I'm thinking of building my own brand new system from scratch as my current one can't even handle Starcraft on its lowest settings.
So after browsing TigerDirect and NewEgg with a budget of <$1000, this is what I got:

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (comes free with my work MSDN subscription! :))
As far as I can tell, there aren't any incompatibilities. I'm getting the full value of each component, right? Nothing screams "problematic" to me, but I haven't been keeping up with the latest technologies to know for sure. I'm not looking for major improvements (unless there's something big that I'm not seeing), I just want to make sure everything will work when I put this all together. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
