My 6 year old Dell that I added 2gb RAM and a GPU to, but is otherwise stock, really has to go. I only ever use it for the web (mostly watching TV shows), and World of Warcraft.
I was going to try to build my own gaming PC based on this chart, but I realized that if I ordered the components and one single thing wasn't compatible, the system might not even run. I totaled the prices from Newegg, and came to about $1000 CAD.
This fear of messing everything up, though, as made me think about buying something pre-built. Are there any brands (or links to specific computers) that are good for gaming? Specifically being able to run WOW as more then the 7FPS average I get now, and hopefully be able to run Cataclysm well enough too.
