FFXI Update just stops. Help please! Follow

I just bought and downloaded FFXI ulitimate collection for pc and reactivated my characters. Everything worked fine then when I was doing the FFXI version update it just stops on 74% of 99.dat no error message or anything it just sits there on 74% forever and when I cancel and try to update again it just goes straight back to sitting at 74% of that file. Any help sorting this out would be much appreciated as I have no idea what to do & can't find any info....
