FFXIV Startup ErrorFollow

Hey there, I've been having some issues getting into the FFXIV Beta client start-up. I downloaded it, updated it, and made sure everything was current, but when the main screen comes up and I click on "start" I get an error message that says:

13001 The lobby server connection has encountered an error.
Error Code: 0
Status: 0
TIMEOUT

Has anyone else encountered this problem, or know what's wrong and how to fix it? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

This phase of the beta is done, so it's not going to work now.
