I'm glad to hear you resolved your problem, you might want to take a good look at the actual port problems though. Leaving yourself in the DMZ is a risky, risky move meant for a short term solution. Tread carefully.

I've since switched ISPs and thus modems (back to my trusty old DSL modem/wireless station combo.) Even without the constant crashing, my cable provider was cutting me off hourly, and four service calls didn't fix it. We finally gave them a big ol' FU and went back to DSL the second AT&T offered it to us.
