I'm going to upgrade my MB, CPU, RAM, and video card when the parts get here. Keeping my sound card, HDDs, power supply, and drives.

Question is should I roll back all my drivers before I switch over, or just install all the new drivers once my new hardware is put in. I'm keeping both my HDDs, one of which has my OS on it. Wasn't sure if installing all that new hardware would cause issues when I first boot up.

The hard drive you put the o/s on regardless of which windows version you use should be a fresh copy of windows from the start, the drivers for the mobo vid card etc are a lot easier to load if nothing else is on it or causing conflicts with them. make it way easier on you as well.

Just put wow and the files you dont want to lose on the secondary even if only for the duration of the build and install.
