sound from only one speakerFollow

this problem isnt isolated to WoW, but instead it affects all the sounds from my computer.
basically, sound usually only comes out of one of my two Logitech 2.0 LS11 speakers. it kinda alternates between the left and the right speaker. i can sometimes hear faint sounds from the one that isnt working, but its very minimal. sometimes both will function properly, but more often than not this isn't the case. ive checked my ports and they should be working, i checked all the plugs and cables and they're fine, i checked my computer's sound settings on both the Windows XP settings at my RealTek audio manager. everything is fine.
wat's wrong with my speakers? help please

One: You can't bump a thread that's still on the first page.

Two: Did you try plugging the speakers into another device besides your PC, like an iPod and if so does it have the same issue?

Three: Do you have another set of speaker you can plug into the PC to make sure your sound card isn't the problem?


My guess is that the sound card jack is not connecting properly with your speaker plug which could cause the audio to jump back and forth.
