A few questions on FFXIFollow

So after a long break (around 2-3 years) I decided to come back to FFXI, but since I didn't expect a comeback I threw away/lost my installation cds so I bought the Vanadiel collection, no problem here. I purchased my content ID about a week ago (I still have the free trial) but had to cancel it because I was going to get a new credit card and didn't want the old one to get charged.

But the problem is that this new card is master card and the old one is a visa, so when I try to update my card information it won't let me choose which type of card (visa/mastercard). Am I missing something? Or there's no way to change from visa to master card?.

By the way when I go to reactivate content ID, my cancelled ID won't show up. Why is that?

Sorry if this has already been answered but I looked it up on google and here and coulnd't find an answer... or maybe I just suck at searching.
