FFXI Help On Xbox 360 :: Free Realms

Hey guys I need a little help with FFXI on the xbox 360.
Well recently in the last couple of days I have been logging in to playonline viewer fine and it's when I go onto final fantasy then press play and you see where that message comes up saying: 'Dont forget your family blah blah'
After that I press play then it is meant to load the character selection screen right? But it doesnt it takes me straight back to the start of playonline viewer and if you do it again, it does the exact same thing in a loop action. So I can not play the game.
Anyone know what is up or know what I could do?

I don't have an Xbox 360 myself, and this might sound like extremely stupid advice but... Are you sure you're pressing "Yes" when going through the "Don't forget your life" warning? Otherwise, it just closes FFXI and takes you back to Playonline, on the PC version at least.

I know what you mean on that message, it's the same exact version for xbox 360 just on the console and yes I press play/yes on that message and then it takes me straight back.

Hmmm.

Have you run a file scan to make sure nothing is corrupted?
I cant remember as I dont play my xbox version much but dont you have to have the disk in? Id check the disk for scratches.

Is it saying anything after it kicks you back to the viewer?
