Just a friendly note to those of you out there.
This security update will cause internet connection issues if you are running the Zone Alarm firewall software.
It will down right break your network connection, even local area networks. You can fix it by uninstalling the update, turning off Zone Alarm, or fixing the issue with the info given here:

Of course, those that have this issue probably can't read this right now anyway.

I'm not familiar with Zone Alarm. Is there something wrong with it?
Zone Alarm is free, and while it provided good firewalling five years ago, it seems they've gotten shoddier and shoddier over the years.
I expect that either M$ or the ZA team will have a patch out for this issue, but really, there are better firewalls out there these days.

Zone Alarm ended up releasing an update to fix the issue.
And it's not all bad, I use it more to block specific programs from accessing the web, rather than to block people from accessing me. As a household user... the modem and router provide enough protection in that department.
