Soooo... today my old and decrepit PC decided to go a bit senile on me. It couldn't load my local profile , and an error message confirmed it to be a registry issue.
Computer is working fine on a temporary profile, but obviously I need to get the registry fixed so I can restore my user profile on my PC. I know are several registry repair tools available to buy or download online, but I've never used any of them beforw.
Can anyone recommend a safe, easy to use, spyware/malware free registy repair program thay have personally used ? I don't mind having to pay for it ( I get paid tomorrow, its all good) I just want to use one thats secure and reliable .

I used to use Tune-Up Utilities. They had a registry cleaner, but I don't know how much, if at all, it would repair registry issues.
It's not free, unless you use a trial version. I liked it's disk defragmenter a lot, it worked much better than the default windows defragmenter (Would work faster, and defrag more completely without multiple runs).
Maybe anyone else who used this could say whether or not the registry cleaner would also repair errors?

If I where you I would really just google registry fixer up and read. Will probably be your best bet. Also why not just reformat. I know that is the typical answer to PC problems but from what it sounds like your PC is still limping so why not pull the stuff off you need and reformat before its gone.
Format and reinstall windows.
