I have had a billion Bipac 7402VGP for two years and have been very pleased with it. Unfortunatly it crashed whilst saving new settings and will no longer respond. I had a D_Link DSL-G624t router supplied by my ISP, so I have been using it as a replacement. The 624 constantly overheats and seems so much slower compared to my old billion.
I am looking at buying a new router and was wondering whether to get another billion probably a bipac 7404vgp as this seems to be the replacement for what I had. Or would a router that is 802.11n draft compatable such as draytek vigor2820n be a better investment as will be forward compatible. I run one ethernet lan connection to my desktop and have 1 laptop constantly connected via wan. I also run a B&B where I offer use of my broadband connection to customers via wan. Any advice would be much appreciated.
I have a second question as I am looking to upgrade my video card, I have a nvidia 7600gt at the moment. I have been looking at either a point of view Geforce 540m 512mb ddr3 card or 2* xfx Geforce 8600gt 540m 512mb gddr2. Thankyou
