More Vista Crap -.-: Syngery between Vanadiel collections?Follow

#1 Apr 23 2008 at 4:16 PM Rating: Decent
Hey all, just a quick question that may have been answered before.

I have in front of me,

A) A new computer with Vista Premium.

B) A Vana'diel collections DVD with expansion packs Zilart-Urgan

C) A website that lets you download a vista compatible version of POL.

My question is, is there any way I can get everything installed with these three things?

I have tried installing the Vista-compat. POL and I get a "Program has stopped working" error everytime I try to run it.

Even if I did manage to get it to load, how would I install all my FF expansions? Would the Vista-POL not let me install them off the client? I don't think you can install FF right off the collections disk, or can you?

Thanks so much,

Zoros

Did you uninstall the regular pol if you tried it before you download the vista pol? if no you have to uninstall both and just redownload the vista pol. To install the expansions you must put in your vanadiel collection in the disc drive
Simply putting the disc might not load the install program you need. You have to manually get the install program to work by going to My computer goto where the disc is located and opening it up and locating the INSTLL folder.
