The long story short, I can't play online games where I am due to blocked ports. I need a good way to tunnel preferably with a proxy provided to get around these ports. I have tried http-tunnel with sockscap and also your-freedom with proxycap. First one was incredibly slow and wouldn't improve much even if I paid monthly for it due to a big limit in the upload. Second combo I didn't even get to really try because the company is idiotic...you need to create an account to use it but they didn't send me the confirmation email so I could us it...I even emailed them in the hopes of getting it but they ignore me. I've also tried to use openvpn but either the guide I received to use it sucked or I am just not technical enough to use it...could be a combination of the two.

I have done your-freedom and proxycap with FFXI and it works good enough to farm/craft however the 1 hour connection limit sucks.
The only way you can so this is to pay unfortunately or setup your own proxy which will redirect on the ports you need such as 1080 or 8080.
Not many options sadly, but then again it a means to what you want.
