Hey all, i recently got a 32" LCD TV to hook up to my PC for playing FFXI, it works great, but I have one small problem, I found it hard to read the text in the main menu and text windows, is there any way to icrease this text size for ingame play? Thanks in advanced.
Edit: I was also wondering if there is a way to increase the size of window text, such as MSN text, mozilla Firefox, and applications, without having to change it everytime i open the programme up. Thanks again.

What resolution are you trying to run it at?
There are two things that measure resolution in FFXI: Overlay resolution, which if you are on fullscreen is your screen size, and the 3D resolution, which is what the game actually runs on. The former is what determines your text size, while the latter determines how pretty the game looks.
I found that the 1152 x 800something resolution was a good compromise, with a BG resolution around 2000 for forced antialiasing. I could still see the text, but it was nicer quality than standard HD.
If you're not sure how to change those settings through FF Config, a good little program to look for is Mog Toolz. It allows you to adjust resolution in the registry easily.
