/headdesk (FFXI install woes)Follow

Ok, here's the issue.
The PC I currently have access to, doesn't have a DVD drive.
All other hardware specs are fine, I don't have the spare money right now to buy more hardware, else I'd just buy a 360 and start playing.
The only copies of the software that I have are the Vana'Diel Collection 07 *dvd* and Wings *again, DVD8, or the XBox360 discs.

I've tried dloading a torrent of the install cd's, but since they're not iso's, or some other disc image, I can't mount them in DaemonTools and install.
I've tried running the setup files as they are and keep hitting a "Insert Playonline CD into the CD drive", message.

The cd drive -is- a cd-rw, so if I could find iso's or something I could just burn my own 'backup' copies to use as install files.

I've even tried coping the completed torrent rips to my iPod and running them from there in the hope the PC would stop being so obsessed with using drive D:.


Does anyone have any ideas?
