Character Creation Issue (FFXI)Follow

First of all, I play Final Fantasy on the Xbox 360.

My problem occured after purchasing a new content ID to make a character to hold my spare items, I selected "Create Character" from the menu. It was working fine until I scrolled (slowly) through the Elvaan face selections, when I highlighted one of the options the screen froze but after 30 or so seconds it loaded.

I then proceeded to choose between hair color A or B, at first I thought it would take a while to load. I was wrong, the screen froze but I could still hear the music playing. Not being able to use the Xbox Guide Button my only choice was to press the power button.

After turning the power back on and starting up Playonline, it said something like "Some data may have been corrupted, select shut down to power down correctly" (Something like that, I don't recall the exact words)

I selected OK and put in my Playonline ID and pass, then proceeded to the FFXI title screen then logged in and everything. All of my Macros have been reset to way they were the day before. I shrugged it off, and played for about an hour or so. When I was done, I typed /shutdown and waited the 30 seconds.

The screen faded black yet it didn't proceed to the Xbox Dashboard, after a good 10 minutes I decided to turn it off. I started PO back up and it displayed the same error as before.

Is this something I should worry about? If so how would I attempt to repair it?
