Odd windows dialog box ... instillation? Follow

Hello,

After playing fine last night this morning when I try to load the game I get this:

I enter POL fine, get to the FFXI page and hit the play button. At the "Word to our players" screen I again hit play.

When I do a odd windows dialog box pops up with "Please wait while windows configures FFXI" and a "Gathering Information" progress bar. When the bar is finished I then get an error that "FINAL FANTASY XI.msi" could not be found and my game crashes. a google search shows that final fantasy xi.msi is an installation file.

I do not have WoTG installed. Any clue what's going on? Gods I don't want to have to reinstall ; ;

Anyone? please? It also won't even let me uninstall at this point.

Wiping my hard drive to get FFXI to work is not something I'm looking forward to doing.
