Looking at a new system/video cardFollow

I'm looking to build a new system. Primarily I want it to run CATIA (3d cad software) but I'd also like to play my box toon in Everquest. I do know the overall system will run both but the video card has me worried about EQ. Anyway, here's what I'm looking to put together:

Motherboard: Asus P5N32-E SLI
CPU: Intel Core 2 duo e6600 (2.4 Ghz)
RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 DOMINATOR 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800
HDD: Western Digital 250GB - SATA2 300 7200RPM 16MB
Case/PS: Antec TX1050B - Black SOHO ATX 500W
DVD: ASUS Black 18X DRW-1814BLT
Video Card: Nvidia Quadro FX3500

Like I mentioned above, I know it's a cad and graphics type card and will run my cad programs nicely. I'm just wondering if anybody knows if it'll run EQ well (I'm not expecting 8800GTX performance) if at all. If anybody sees any glaring mistakes in this setup (ie, incompatible stuff, better choices, etc.) please give me your input.

Thanks for any input/advice.

I can't see any reason it wouldn't. It's PCIx, it's 256 RAM, it should run your games just fine.

Found This, its a comparison of workstation cards and they just happened to throw in a 3dmark06 bench.

My system with an X1950pro only gets about 1k more than the FX3500 so i assume you should be more than fine provided there are no issues with the Quadro drivers rendering Direct3D.

IMO as long as you stick to windows XP and avoid vista i see no problems

Kastigir PCI-X and PCI-E are two completely different things. Its PCI-E not PCI-X.
