Remove PlayOnline ID (How?)Follow

I really cannot find how to do this. I've changed the email address, and created a new Gamer Tag.. Yet I need to use the same PlayOnline ID to access my character. I can't find the option to remove the current one.. Any suggestions? thanks-

Or, I guess the title should be remove Gamer Tag. All these damn things are a blur, just let me play the damned game. I payed the monehs.

Edit: Or, I suppose another question is, how do you change the link of gamer tag to ID? It says I need to do so, yet gives me no ability to do so.

Maybe it just says, "You can't play FFXI anymore, sorry."
