Hi guys
Well, there's been a problem goin on with POL and everything... I cannot even connect to POL without seeing POL-1160 each time... I've rebooted my computer, reinstalled the program 3+times, and opened any ports that are said needed to be opened for FFXI...
Because it's been happening like this for more than 5 months, I'm pretty sure there's something going on more than just lag. I use a Netgear router... should I be configuring something else in my computer in order for it to work? Thanks for any help given.

From what I have been able to find out this is an error on SE's side. Basically their servers are congested during a patch and, so they say, the problem will eventually resolve itself.
Two years ago they promised a fix for this, as far as I have been able to determine players are still waiting for that promised fix to the POL-#### issue.
