I Have recently received an error on my Hard Disc drive that is kepping me from logging on. I called Sony about the problem and they told me in order to fix the error i need the HDD utuility disc ver 1.10 which came with my PS2 HDd and Final Fantasy install discs. So i try to find it and it turns out my dad forgot to pack it before me moved from one state to another. Can someone please help me with this problem? Without the utuility disc i will never b able to log on Final Fantasy ever again. If anyone has any info on where i can find one or if someone can send me they'res please send me a messege or a responce to this fourm.

You can replace it with a normal computer drive, if memory serves me correct those use a Ultra interface. This is what a lot of PS2 users had to do, and I actually fixed a lot of my friends after they dropped HDD support.

I will edit this post when I get home with the actual Drive interface so you can search for a drive.

ah here it is;

If you need to find out what version PS2 you have use this;

Another late edit, I was right (I called home) They are a Ultra ATA/100 interface drive. If you don't want anything huge you can pick them up for a reasonable price.

Good Luck
