Just installed XP to make FFXI work... no driversFollow

I'm trying to make it so my mom can play ffxi on her laptop but it had Vista on it (media center edition) and after several days of trying, I gave up installing it. Today I just installed XP on it, but now it has no network drivers so it can't connect to the internet. FFXI was installed fine, but under device settings it wont even tell me which company made the devices so I can't go and download the drivers from a site.

My question: is there a program I can download on my computer that I can transfer over with a thumb drive that will detect the network device's company and type? If not, is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you!

SIW is a life saver at times and you know what, IT'S FREE!

There are also some other bootable CD versions like I think it's ADURIA or something but I have never had the best luck with it.

SIW will give you what you want to know and more info then you could ever use.
