Figured out the problem with help from tech support, if you do this is should fix the problem, mines fixed.
If you are receiving the "Failed to send error 19" please perform the following steps:
1. delete the following folder /PlayOnline/SquareEnix/PlayOnlineViewer/usr
2. Restart POL
3. It will start up a windows installer window (at least under WinXP), let it finish and it will prompt you to insert the Playonline/Tetramaster install CD.
4. Insert that CD and click browse and click on the .MSI file it looking for and click ok to continue the install (the file is on the root of the POL install cd)
5. It will then bring up the POL network and update window, click to update and if POL is already current it will prompt you to restart POL.
6 Restart POL, you will then need to click on the option for POL members and then enter in your account name and password.
7. Once logged into POL all that left to do is go into Mail under Navigator and change the account name from the Default Playonline to your playonline account name/#.
