FFXI: game clock does not agree with real timeFollow

#1 May 06 2007 at 4:16 PM Rating: Decent
My real time clock in FFXI is an hour behind. Right now, it's 8:16PM EST but my game clock says 7:16.

Also, Allakhazam's game time clock is an hour ahead, as are all other FFXI game timers. Example: Right now it is earthsday, but Alla says it's watersday.

wtfxup?

You have to change your computers internal time as FFXI along with vana navi timer all take their calculations from your local machine. I had the same problem after I rebuilt my one machine with a template I had that set it to PST time.

My PC's clock is set to the correct time. Is the internal time different?

If your time settings are correct in windows (DST does matter) then it shouldn't be an hour off. The only other place you can set the time would be the BIOS however I highly doubt that would matter. Make sure you have the correct region set in your time/date settings not just the time change.
