I keep hearing odd noises when I click on links. Sounds like a odd little smurf or something squeeking. Can anyone, make anything of this?

Are google sponsered links possibly infected links? Is google evil? I ask because I have been reading a article about how links from Google can cause infections. The article was on a Symentic website(The main site for my PC protection program), as I was researching another possible virus infection. I can not link the article, since I have lost the page. While a tech. is working on my PC.

Would anyone advise someone not to use google due to bad links?

Do safe search engines exist or is "Bad" internet all there is for non-tech. pc users?

Not sure why people are Anti-Google however usually anything which effects more then just one site is a virii which has infected your local machine. Google is a very nice Search engine and have used it for years with no issues on various machine and versions with no problems.
