FFXI and 3D-AnalyzeFollow

Alright, so I recently had to build a new computer on $300, and my main concern was getting one that ran FFXI. (Specs will follow)
I bought an ASUS "Graphics Integrated Motherboard", thinking that it'd be better than my low-end laptop that DID run FFXI when it was running.

Alas, no luck; my mobo doesn't do hardware TnL, so I dug up that 3D-analyze video card emulator thing... FFXI now runs, but its unbearably laggy sometimes and I'm running the lowest graphics possible, but other times it'll run without ANY lag whatsoever (in Selbina no less, not my Mog House or something)

I have absolutely no extra programs running that I know of. Is there any way I can improve my performance via 3d Analyze or just tweaking things around? I intend to buy a video card ASAP, but money's tight being a Uni student... I've done everything I can in game, no weather effects, etc etc.

Specs:
Intel Celeron D 3.33 ghz
1 Gb DDR2 RAM (Corsair ValueSelect)
ASUS P5VD2-MX SE motherboard
