FFXI Start upFollow

So, When I click the final "Play" button on the PlayOnline Viewer and FFXI would normally load up, it instead goes to a black screen and freezes. I have called into their technical support and was told to open some ports, I did so and it still doesnt work.

I am posting here because the call in hours are done for the day and I had hopes that one of you could assist me.

Processor type/speed: P4 3.2GHZ
Total Hard drive space/Free hard drive space: 160/120
Amount of Ram: 1 gig
Video card type: GeForce4 TI 4200 128mb
Operating system: XP
