Hello all,I play FFXI and i just got a new monitor a few days ago..I upgraded from a MicroTec 19" D-Sub<~(Connection) LCD screen to a ViewSonic VX2025WM Black-Silver 20.1" Widescreen LCD Monitor DVI-D <~ (Connection).
My old monitor looked so much better...Maybe its my screen resolution..i have it on my screens optimun resolution which is 1680x1050..Any help would be awesome to get my game looking smooth again ^^ btw my system info is a Sapphire Radeon X1800XT 512MB video card,2GB RAM, AMD Athlon 3800+ @ 2.4Ghz

I had the same problem at first, my old monitor looked better than my new one. Give it a few days and see if your opinion changes...mine did. Barring that have you updated your video drivers?

I'm not sure if you've done it already but maybe try changing your aspect ratio under your config in game to get the right fit?
