Game crashes as soon as I log into worldFollow

I just bought the game and sat through years of updates, got my chacter made and am all ready to play. So I load up POL and that goes through fine start FFxi, select my guy and it starts to load me in. I Hear he music of Bastok and screen goes balck and crashes. POL has had an error and needs to shut down and a really long error list. anyone have any idea?

I shut off my fire wall, restarted and still nothing...

Error 2003 means a corrupt file (one or more are corrupt).
