FFXI: Computer restart when choosing character?Follow

Hello.

I've posted before about one problem but I have received another. When FFXI starts up, I choose a character to start with and all goes well until a few seconds of loading and suddenly my computer restarts. I contacted the support and they said that many others where having the same problem.

Is anyone here having that problem?

There was an update, and I did a system restore.

Is there anyway to fix this problem?

Owww... Same thing happens to me. Do we have to have ToAU installed? I dont have it installed and it just restarts. I just tried it again. I almost threw something at my screen when I saw the "Sony" logo come up again.

Yeah, I have that exact same problem, its getting on my nerves. I can't play FFXI anymore. I contacted POL through web chat and they said that they are trying to fix it. Even if you try to go back instead of choosing a character, it will still restart.

Maybe try reinstalling and see if that works.

And would you know if POL has a forum? So I can complain about this. I'm still paying every month and I'm not getting to play.

Hmmm maybe that will be it. Either that or I will just reinstall FFXI.

How did you reinstall your video card drivers?
