Final Fantasy XI PC HelpFollow

Ok, I just got FFXI Vana'Diel Collection Friday and I'm having problems. I installed everything and started up PlayOnline Viewer. It said it was connecting to update but so far nothing. I tried it on my wireless network for 5 hours and no update, then again on just the main DSL line and still no dice. I can't play the game and the POViewer still hasn't updated. I called PlayOnline's tech support but they aren't available on weekends so I'm at a loss on what to do. Help would be greatly appriciated, I'm in an area of gaming I have little knowledge about(I'm a console gamer). Thank you for your time.
