What the title says.

My comp is rebooting itself over and over as soon as it gets to the windows loading screen thing, it restarts.

(btw I'm posting this on a different comp, I cant get on the one at all.)

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Safemode selct screen comes up...but any option I pick doesn't work.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Are you getting a blue screen of death? Sounds like hardware failure of some type if you are.

Nope, it restarts as soon as the windows logo screen (with the "loading bar" underneath it.) comes up. No blue screen at all.

The easiest thing to try is to boot your machine from your windows CD (you may have to change the boot order in the BIOS) and go into the repair console when it loads up.

When you get to the command prompt type "chkdsk c: /r" and press enter. This will check and correct any errors on your hard drive and is the most common fix that works for a problem like that.

If you don't have any luck post back here.

If you are talking about FFXI, it happened to me too. After the major update, my machine crashed then kept looping like you mentioned.

I went around that by first going into safe mode, then restarting in normal mode.

When I had a pc i was having the same thing it turned out to be a RAM that I installed. Other possiblities is a bad power supply. There are plenty of RAM test just google to find one and it will indicate if you have faulty RAM if that dosn't work replace the power supply they are fairly cheap and easy to replace.
