LAN or High-Speed connectionFollow

I just got a 512kbps connection at home and I'm having this "Error 0019" problem. Makes me wonder why, because everything works fine, from MSN messenger to internet explorer.

Does anyone know a solution to this?

P.S. I'm not using a router. My computer is directly connected to the DSL modem.

-Thanks

Error 0019 is a POL error. Server down error. It's in the FFXI troubleshooting sticky.

Yes it's a POL error. Sorry for not clearing that up.

I've read the sticky a couple of times, but still have yet to find a way to solve this. What's wierd is I can use dial up to connect to FFXI and it will connect just fine, while dsl will give me Error 0019 over and over again.

Probably port blocking. Contact your ISP and see if they're blocking any ports. Get the list of ports that need to be opened from the sticky above.
