im trying to set up my computer to the internet so i can play ffxi (on moms comp atm) but im realy bad with computers. i have a cable modem connected to the wireless router me and my mom would be sharing the internet i got all the stuff to do it connected.. but i dont know how to do the ip adress's,etc this is what my brother left me to do but hell if i can figure it out

i ahve a patch cord connected from router to my comp and another from router to moms comp all i need is to figure the ip adress's and stuff out

Log in to the router using 192.168.2.1, from there you can set the router to assign IP adresses automatically.
