FX Card Showing Up Twice on Hardware ProfileFollow

An update:

I believe I know where the blue screens were coming from. I had recently changed my RAM set up so that Dual DDR was enabled.

I came to this conclusion after a clean install of windows and I was still getting blue screen errors (even during the setup). I changed the RAM back and everything is working very well.

The reinstall has really helped the performance issues, the machine boots quickly and is using less memory than before with more things started (Antivirus, Fraps, some nVIDIA software).

After the reinstall I still had that newer BIOS on the motherboard. I finally found the old BIOS on the internet, flashed it, and it's back to what it was.

Only one problem now. The motherboard thinks my processor is an Athlon +1100 that is running at 1ghz instead of a Sempron +1800 that runs at 1.8ghz. No clue why that is, I'm not going to stress about it since I'll be ordering that Athlon XP +3000 here soon.

Thanks for all the tips and ideas, now I need to rewrite all my FFXI macros Smiley: mad

Try knocking your front side bus speed up to 166 in the BIOS if you can. SHould be under chipset features or something similar.

Your CPU should be running at 11 x 166.66(1833) but it's running at 11 x 100 (1100).
